    New Student Orientation is planned especially for our newly admitted freshmen, transfer, and re-admitted students.

    • Expose you to our campus and culture
    • Engage with students, faculty, and staff
    • Participate in an enhanced campus tour
    • Learn about student life and financial wellness
    • Meet our Peer Advisors

    Complete prior to New Student Orientation


    Financial Aid and Scholarship
    • Submit 2023-2024 FAFSA at www.fafsa.gov (FMU Institution Code: 001486) Note: International Students are not eligible for federal aid and do not need to submit a FAFSA
    • Complete Effective Access to Student Education Grant Application (FL Residents only)
    • Complete the United Negro College Fund General Application at www.uncf.org

    Reserve your spot!
     
    • Submit your non-refundable enrollment deposit of $200 (Reserves your space at FMU and let us know you're officially coming!) NoteThe enrollment deposit does not guarantee campus housing. 

    Living on Campus
    • Submit your $250 Housing deposit (Housing is not guaranteed and is assigned on a first come first serve basis).
    • Review and select a meal plan
    • Submit immunization and medical history form 

    Finalize Enrollment
    • Submit your final official high school/college transcripts to the Admissions Office.
